Boiler Room was recorded in the summer of 2019 at Chicago’s Comfort Station on the last show of the groups tour of the Eastern/Southern United States.
The recording captures the band in peak form, deftly building seamless formal structures, given shape by intense polyphonic interplay, stark contrasts in dynamics, density, and timbre, and propelled forward by a deep rhythmic churn.
